When installing a Windows operating system under VMware or VMware Workstation, the following error occurs:
Windows cannot find the Microsoft Software License Terms. Make sure the installation source are valid and restart the installation
Solution:
The solution is as simple. Windows seems to be having a problem with the floppy drive.
Remove the floppy drive from the VM configuration and run the installation again. It should now complete without errors.
